It never come behind a 60E,, i called AA the other day and come up with $725 for the adapter kit.
I havent been able to find a newer stick shift Xcase for a decent price, i got the 205 for free so thats one reason im researching tryin to get it to work.
I have fixed and replaced the dern xcase's in the newer trucks with the holes and i dont see that problem with the 205 haha..
Samurai was free
Engine was free
4l60E was free - $110 - replaced the sunshell and 3-4 clutchs with Altos
NP205 was free -$80 for a seal and bearing kit got it back into running condition
Toy rear axle was free - gonna put new bearings in it and a posi or locker
GM 8.5 10" is free - gotta get a posi for it and shorter axles after its narrowed.
Having a hard time locating the usual parts for a easier swap but everybody thinks they are selling gold it seems.
Havent started on anything yet except drawing this stuff out and a price list on what it should cost to get get all the parts and rebuilds to get it goin.
But i like taking everyones advice on here and other sites to get an idea as to what is better suited for the job.
